Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Glenn Krieger has years of training and experience in spinal adjustment. Some of the techniques Dr. Krieger utilizes includes Flexion/Distraction, Activator, Diversified adjusting and Spinal Decompression Therapy.

Physiotherapy

To complement and enhance the healing effects of Dr. Krieger's specific Chiropractic adjustment treatment, we at Sound Sports & Family Chiropractic also provide the following physiological therapeutic procedures:

  • Ultrasound
  • Interferential electrical muscle stimulation
  • Pre-modulated electrical muscle stimulation
  • Intersegmental traction
  • Mechanical traction
  • Cryotherapy
  • Moist Heat

Low Level Cold Laser Therapy  Erchonia_Laser_pic.jpg

Sound Sports & Family Chiropractic and Dr. Glenn Krieger are on the cutting edge of healthcare and physical modalities. Leading the way is low level laser. These lasers speed recovery faster than any other modality by using laser technology to stimulate tissue and cell recovery. Using coherent light to the affected areas, bundles of light energy pass through dermal layers and cause biological changes to the injured musculoskeletal tissue. The increase in intra-cellular energy results in altered cell membrane permeability and physiological changes through an enzyme cascade. Low level cold laser initiates increased micro circulation and enhansed tissue regeneration. The overall effects are decreased pain and inflammation, increased range of motion, increased blood flow, improved immune system, balanced nervous system, and energized cells resulting in improved healing and recovery.

 Corrective Exercises

We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises in our complete on site rehabilitation gym to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health. Furthermore, can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%.  In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use.

Spinal Thermal/sEMG Scan (Subluxation Station)                                     scan3.jpg

Dr. Glenn Krieger at Sound Sports & Family Chiropractic, utilizes an advanced chiropractic technology that scans your spine and delivers a computerized image of the stress and tension to your nervous system. Two different technologies give us (and you) an objective assessment:

  1. Surface Electromyography measures the minute amounts of electrical energy in the muscles along your spine. The sEMG reads the amount of electrical current in your muscles to determine how well your motor nerves are functioning and if they are symmetrical.
  2. Thermal Scanner assesses autonomic function by measuring skin temperature differentials on either side of the spine.  Our thermal scan is non-invasive, gentle and reveals the condition of your autonomic nervous system controlling your organs, glands and circulatory system. certified_space_tchnology.jpg

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I was very impressed with the chiropractic care I received from Dr. Anderson. I had received chiropractic in the past for my neck pain, but not to this level of care. After only a few sessions, my symptoms began to disappear, especially my neck pain, and I know I would not have been able to perform to my everyday work functions without the treatment I received."
